Pro Cabinets is a locally owned company specializing in custom kitchen cabinets, and custom bathroom vanities in St Louis. Our company started after two childhood friends decided they wanted to dedicate their time and their talents to assisting homeowners in the St. Charles/St.Louis area. Our owners, Marcus Melita and Ross Washburn, have over 30 years of combined experience in the construction industry. Marcus has a degree in construction management and worked as a carpenter for many years. Ross worked in nearly every area of construction before Pro Cabinets opened its doors.
Our amazing team works together to ensure our clients receive a stress-free remodeling experience. Our St Louis company specializes in custom kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinetry that surpasses our clients’ expectations. Our Process for Designing Custom Cabinetry in St Louis

Request a consultation
Snap a few photos that show off the space you want to remodel. Then take some early measurements and note down any doors or windows. Finally, click on “Request a Consultation” to upload your documents.

Review your initial design
A member of our design team will meet with you to learn more about the vision, budget, and timeline for your custom cabinetry. Our St. Louis team will then put together an initial design for your review.

Revisions/Place order
We will take official measurements before making any final revisions. After one more review, your order is placed, and we provide an estimated arrival date.
Meet your cabinetry experts
Marcus Melita
Owner
From the age of 13, Marcus helped a friend’s father with miscellaneous carpentry jobs. After a few years, he had accumulated background experience in roofing, concrete, and landscaping. While working as a carpenter, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Missouri State University. Fast forward through a few solo adventures, he partnered with Ross and formed Pro Cabinets to better handle their clients’ needs.
Ross Washburn
Owner
Ross has been working in construction for 23 years. He started out framing houses, then siding, concrete, and eventually did a little bit of everything. He believes being knowledgeable in all areas of the construction trade has helped him and Marcus be able to create a successful business that they are both proud of.
Heather Evans
Operations Manager
Heather has her bachelor’s degree in business management from UMSL. She worked at Home Depot for 11 years, then made the transition into real estate for another 10 years. She started working for Property Pros in May of 2020, and Pro Cabinets shortly after as the operations manager.
Camryn Brumley
Marketing Manager
Camryn graduated with her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lindenwood University in December of 2021. During college, she did an internship with a boat dealership and then continued to work there after graduation. She joined the Pro Cabinets team in March of 2023.
Shannon Zemcuznikov
Senior Designer & Sales manager
Shannon Zemcuznikov loves creating new Kitchen and Bath spaces for her homeowners! She developed her customer experience skills through Disney’s “Crossroads to Leadership” Program, and cherished her time at Disney. She has been fortunate enough to work under some of the best Kitchen & Bath remodelers in St. Louis and genuinely loves to apply what she’s learned/experienced to make each project as smooth as possible. She has been assisting homeowners and contractors through their Kitchen & Bath remodels for over 15 years. This is how she see her role – “I help people create the space they love and want to live in. I’m here to ease the myriad of details required to remodel your home. I’ll even sit with you and let you cry in my beer when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel!”
Daniel Murphy
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Daniel’s past work has contributed kitchen, bath, and whole house room designs for clients here in the Midwest, in Florida, and for offshore island projects in Bermuda and the Caribbean. His work has included custom residential, commercial, and multifamily projects. With an eye towards aging-in-place and practical designs, he enjoys being a sharing, informative product resource while helping to facilitate a less-overwhelming design experience for our customers.
He finds his time often involved in the continuous home-improvement and repair projects at his own home. Daniel lives in Saint Charles with his wife, youngest son, and their spunky Dachshund Frankie.
Shannon Zemcuznikov
